Pacific Crest Trail Association Trail Skills College

The Riverside County Park & Open Space District is excited to announce a partnership with the Pacific Crest Trail Association in presenting the 2015 Southern California Trail Skills College in Idyllwild the weekend of October 3rd & 4th. The College is FREE for all participants.

The Southern California Trail Skills College is a place to learn all you ever wanted to know about building and maintaining trails. Choose from a variety of classes, from the fundamentals of trail maintenance to advanced drainage systems. Whether you are new to trail work or a seasoned veteran, we have a class that will enhance your trail maintenance skills. Trail Skills College is free to all participants and camping and meals are provided throughout the weekend. Limited space is available, so sign up early!

RivCo Parks is hosting a free Volunteer Mixer on Friday, October 2nd at 6:00pm in Idyllwild Park to kick off the weekend’s events. Please RSVP if you are joining us.
