The Riverside County Historical Commission will consider all applications for County Landmarks. Favorable recommendations on applications are sent to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for their approval or disapproval.
On the following pages you will find more details on how this process works in the Criteria & Procedures for nominating County Landmarks and the Application for a Riverside County Landmark. Please go over these carefully. The materials are designed to give you guidance on the criteria for landmark selection, how to apply, and the level of supportive materials you must submit with your application.
If you need assistance or would like to speak with someone about the landmarks program, please contact the County Historic Preservation Officer at Riverside County Park District, 951/955-4558.
