How to Adopt Your Trail:
The RivCo Parks Adopt-A-Trail (AAT) program was created by the Riverside County Regional Park & Open-Space District to bring community members and organizations together to protect and maintain the natural beauty of our trail system and open space areas.
The AAT program encompasses trails, and playgrounds throughout Riverside County. We rely on the dedication and hard work of volunteers to keep our trails maintained and safe for everyone. Without the commitment of our volunteers, our trails and parks would fall into disrepair and be unavailable for use.
Trail segments range in difficulty, length, and location; there is something for everyone! The District provides Adopters all the training and resources you will need to make your Adoption campaign a success. This includes a trailer full of tools, personal protection equipment for all trail volunteers, and field support to assist on work days. We will even help recruit volunteers to help you on your trail!
