The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District Adopt-A-Trail program is designed to engage community organizations that want to make a difference by volunteering their time to help keep Riverside County trails safe and clean. Organizations that provide maintenance and clean up to a segment of a trail for a one-year period will be rewarded with a sign posted on their portion of the trail which recognizes the organization and the appreciation of their efforts.
Through these efforts, Riverside County regional trails can remain accessible and enjoyable to all users and contribute to the beautification of the local community. Common Adopt-A-Trail tasks include hazard checks, maintenance checks, litter pickup and planting trees and/or wildflowers.
