The vast majority of volunteers do so to help out and give back, not to receive recognition. Still, it is nice to show appreciation for their contributions, so the Park District enjoys recognizing their efforts every year. Volunteers are the heart of the Park District and opportunities to volunteer exist in all of our parks, open-spaces, interpretive and recreation centers. We could not allow the year to come to an end without recognizing their outstanding efforts. Volunteers consistently enhance Park District sites while strengthening relationships within their communities and throughout Riverside County. Each year, we pay homage to the volunteers and special interest groups who continue to assist us and provide excellent customer service.
The Park District couldn’t function at the same level of customer satisfaction without our volunteers’ assistance. Thank you, Park District volunteers, for all of your hard work and efforts!
