Dividing the larger playing fields from the smaller fields is a centrally located landscaped plaza featuring a 65 ft x 30 ft picnic shelter with barbeque, restrooms and concession building, a storage building, drinking fountains and a playground. South of the plaza is a 27 ft hexagon picnic shelter with a barbeque. Surrounding the complex are six scattered 10 ft x 10 ft picnic shelters with barbeques.
Light-Structure Green lighting by Musco Lighting will provide energy efficient illumination of the park. This type of lighting reduces upward light, minimizing sky glow and light spill.
Rancho Jurupa Regional Sports Park is scheduled to open in Spring 2012. Applications for field use will be accepted starting in February 2012. If you are interested in utilizing the sports park for your league or tournament play, please call (951) 955-4397.
