Camping Reservations

Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District offers an array of camping facilities to meet a variety of recreational needs. We have eight parks throughout the County that accommodate camping. Our Parks have many different characteristics and amenities to choose from. Park settings are from wilderness to modern day camping with Wi-Fi and cable. We also offer everything from camping, fishing, boating, hiking, splash pads, miniature golf, picnicking and horseback riding as well as boulder play and we are still growing. Here at Riverside County Park and Open-Space District we hope that you and your family enjoy your experience as you choose your activities and find a park suitable to your recreational needs.

Crestmore Manor

Crestmore Manor, a 10,830 square-foot colonial-style mansion, was built in the mid 1950’s by W.W. “Tiny” Naylor to appease his wife’s desires to live in a home similar to the ones found in Kentucky’s horse country. It was composed of nine bedrooms, an indoor rotisserie built into a brick fireplace, a wet bar, a rumpus room, a pool and pool house, a circular staircase and marble floors.

Special Event

Special Events are a wonderful way for companies, groups, and organizations to enjoy a special occasion ranging from boat races, dog shows, family reunions, and track meets in one of our spectacular parks. Activities including food vendors, live performances, and musical entertainment are also welcome to make any Special Event more joyous.

Lawler Lodge and Alpine Cabins

Lawler Lodge & Lawler Alpine Cabins is a reservation-only group camping location 8 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243. Open year-round, the lodge was designed and constructed by the same contractor who built Yosemite Lodge in the Yosemite National Park in 1916. In 1954, the lodge was donated to the county by U.S. Attorney General, Oscar Lawler. Shortly after, 80 acres of the surrounding area was developed to create the Lawler Alpine Cabins.

Cabins at Rancho Jurupa Park

Rancho Jurupa Park is situated along the Santa Ana River and located behind Mt. Rubidoux just west of charming historic downtown Riverside. The newly renovated Rancho Jurupa Park features six cabins nestled in a beautiful park setting. Each spacious 400 square foot cabin accommodates up to four guests and includes a bedroom, restroom/shower, living/dining room, kitchen, and indoor climate control. Rancho Jurupa Park is a vast 200 acres with spectacular mountain views, cottonwood trees, gorgeous meadows, and two 3-acre lakes.
